Dr. Michael Pontoriero, a beacon of excellence in vascular and thoracic surgery, boasts an illustrious 37-year career. Not only is he a retired Major in the US Army Reserves, but he also plays a pivotal role as a Deacon at his local church, Director of the NJ Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at UMDNJ. His contributions extend beyond the operating room, as evidenced by his citations in prominent medical publications and his presentations at esteemed healthcare institutions. Dr. Pontoriero’s dedication and service have left an indelible mark on our practice and community.
