Nurse Practitioner

Elizabeth Coll, DNP, APN, RVT joined The Cardiovascular Care Group in 2024. Elizabeth is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in vascular disease, lymphedema management and wound care.

She earned her masters degree in nursing from Columbia University in 1998 and her doctoral degree in nursing from Rutgers University in 2015. She has expertise in the treatment of varicose veins, performing endovenous laser and radiofrequency ablation, ambulatory phlebectomy and ultrasound-guided injection sclerotherapy since 2004.

Emily Simmons, APN-C, CWOCN joined the Cardiovascular Care group in 2014. Ms. Simmons is a certified Nurse Practitioner and licensed RN with an additional certification in wound care. Her primary role is focused on treating patients and coordinating vascular care at the Morristown Medical Center Health Pavilion in Rockaway.

She works in collaboration with our vascular physicians and is responsible for the assessment and development of treatment plans for new and existing patients pertaining to Arterial, Venous, Carotid, Aneurysm and Dialysis Access issues. Ms. Simmons provides the essential monitoring and continuity of care between physician and patients and assists with various medical procedures and interventions.
